صدر عن قاضي الامور المستعجلة في صور الرئيس عرفات شمس الدين قراراً حمل رقم الاساس 441/2010 قضى بإلزام الجهة القائمة بأعمال البناء في العقار الملاصق لمدرسة الاتحاد الثانوية بالتوقف فوراً عن كافة اعمال الحفر والانشاء والبناء في العقارين رقم 1102 و 2361 منطقة صور العقارية وذلك تداركاً لاي خطر محتمل ودرءاً للاضرار المتوقعة ولحين البت بالدعوى العالقة، وتكليف فصيلة درك صور انفاذ مضمون القرار وتنظيم محضر بذلك .

    5. Thanks to Ya Sour for going legal with this issue. Thanks also to Sour's court and judge who issud his orders to stop an ugly assault on one of Sour's academic pillars. Shame on those who issued the license in the first place, and god bless thise who stopped such an assault against the entire city and its students.

    12. Thank you so much Judge Arafat Shams Eddin for working on this problem so fast. Your decision shows your concern for the people of Sour and South Lebanon especially the current and future students. It also shows how much you value education, that is the basic foundation of all civilizations, of which this great city Sour was one. Hopefully this decision and finding a solution to the problem will help the current and future generations, who are attending and will attend this school, succeed and excell in their careers and professions and become good citizens who will help to continue to build this city, Lebanon, and the Arab nation in their own ways and abilities. I attended Etihad Secondary School on 67 and 68 and I appreciate all the education and vlues that I learned at that time. The education that I received there was instrumental and was the basic foundation to what I am now and what I have accomplished in my life. We left Sour but Sour never left us. It is always in our hearts and thoughts. Above all, thank you YASOUR.ORG for all these great things that you are doing for this city and South Lebanon and the attention that you always bring for the improvements of everything there. Your work and the judge's decision are very well appreciated and especially the great introduction to the school and its founders and this includes our late educators Salim Shammas, Said Khouri, Mohammad Khalil. Also Mr Mahmoud Shaaban and everyone that gave education there and they are so many. That introduction reflects the exact truth and facts about this school. Thank you all again and hope the good deeds and work will continue

On behalf of myself and several of my class mates that attended Ettihad High School, kindly accept Judge Shamseddine and Ya Sour our deep and heartfelt appreciation and thanks for taking a social responsibility to address this painful matter. On this occasion, we all salute the peaceful souls of those who built Etihad and educated numerous generations of our people. Salute to the soul of Salim Al Shammas, Saeed Khoury, Mohamed Khalil, Fouad Boueiri, and special salutes to special people, in particular, Mahmoud Shaaban, Jaboor Jaboor and Siham Shammas Al Khouri.
